Welcome to the Marche of Alderford!
The Marche of Alderford is a local branch of the
Society for Creative Anachronism, located in Stark, Carroll, and Tuscarawas Counties, Ohio. We are part of the
Barony of Brendoken, which in turn is part of the Middle Kingdom.
The SCA is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the study and re-creation of the culture of the Middle Ages. Our meetings are free and open to the public. To learn more about Alderford and the SCA, visit one of our meetings or contact any of our officers. We hope you'll come and join us in creating the Current Middle Ages!

Zabava and Quentin proud parents of new Alderfolk

Marche of Alderford bids a sad, fond farewell to Lord Charles the Indecisive
Submitted by Justin on Fri, 2006/06/23 - 11:16amHe was known by many names: Charles the Indecisive, Constable Barnabas of Fife, and most often, just Charlie. Charles Carlton Dreyer, age 62, passed away on June 21 from cancer, leaving a void in the Marche of Alderford that will be hard to fill.
