Welcome to the Marche of Alderford!

Parade Photo The Marche of Alderford is a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, located in Stark, Carroll, and Tuscarawas Counties, Ohio. We are part of the Barony of Brendoken, which in turn is part of the Middle Kingdom.

The SCA is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the study and re-creation of the culture of the Middle Ages. Our meetings are free and open to the public. To learn more about Alderford and the SCA, visit one of our meetings or contact any of our officers. We hope you'll come and join us in creating the Current Middle Ages!

Alderford Holiday Party

Garb: always welcome and encouraged, but not required.

Lady Catriona Fionnaghal nic Elphinstone, called Ceit, was presented with an Award of the Purple Fret on November 15 at the Alderford meeting.

alderford.org domain name service problem fixed

We had problems with the settings of our domain registry that caused this web site to be temporarily inaccessible. These problems have been corrected at the source, and the change should propagate to all ISPs within 48 hours. This also affects the Alderfolk email list.
